Beautiful scenery and a rich academic atmosphere - truly deserving of its nickname "the Oxford of the Southern Hemisphere." A must-visit destination.

This attraction is definitely worth visiting. Since we were with a tour group, the guide didn't give us much time. If you're visiting independently, you should plan at least double the time, if not more. The Law School building is quite different from our universities. It's worth seeing - thanks to our guide for recommending it. I had to rush through it on my own.

Visiting with children, the place is clean, tidy, and beautiful. The vast lawns and golden castle-like academic buildings leave a deep impression. The cultural atmosphere is truly memorable!

Living near the University of Sydney made it easy for me to find this building. By the way, you should search for "Quadrangle Clocktower" on Google - it's easy to find.

Since this is a place where people study, please keep your voice down when visiting to maintain a good image of our country. I actually saw one of our fellow citizens, an elderly lady, loudly entertaining her grandson and shouting her husband's name inside the building. Sigh... it was quite embarrassing.

Despite the sun being high in the sky, the campus was unusually quiet this Sunday. Throughout our visit, apart from a few staff members, we hardly saw any students.

However, our interest wasn't in these achievements - we came for the medieval-style architecture. The main building, famous for its Harry Potter-like appearance yet having no actual connection to Harry Potter, looked particularly enchanting under Australia's bright sunlight.

The historic teaching buildings, with their century-old heritage, are primarily constructed from sandstone and other stone materials. Under the sunlight, these structures exude an ancient charm. Through the lens, you can capture intricate details of the doorways, windows, stonework, and even the drainage systems.

The main building of the University of Sydney attracts many visitors, so capturing a clean background for panoramic shots requires patience. However, with persistence, I managed to get a few photos that look like I had the place to myself.

Take your time wandering through the campus, enjoying the sunshine and the students' youthful energy - it's a delightfully relaxing experience. The Main Quadrangle has become a popular photo spot. Does its Victorian-style British architecture look familiar? Known as the "Harry Potter Building," it served as inspiration for Hogwarts Castle. The ancient building, over a hundred years old, uses sandstone and other stone materials similar to those in The Rocks district, displaying its historic charm in the sunlight.

The winter campus is coming back to life, with occasional students reading in the sunlit corridors. Passing through the century-old doorway, the interior decoration feels as sacred as a cathedral. The vaulted ceiling soars majestically, while sunlight streaming through stained glass windows creates a colorful spectacle, bringing the stories depicted in the windows to life.

Lion-headed gargoyles guard the corridors, as if they might come alive at a wizard's call, roaring to life. Climbing the stone stairs feels like entering a magical world.

I'm not sure when the rumor started that the University of Sydney was a Harry Potter filming location. As a dedicated Harry Potter fan who has watched the films multiple times, I can confirm there are no scenes actually filmed here. While the university does share some similarities with Cambridge, it wouldn't make sense for directors to travel all the way to Australia to film at a Cambridge look-alike. This seems to be a pleasant misunderstanding - the University of Sydney was not actually a Harry Potter filming location.

If you've been to Cambridge, you won't be particularly amazed here - it feels somewhat modest compared to Cambridge's King's College. Nevertheless, it's still beautiful and absolutely worth visiting while in Sydney.

We spent quite a long time at the university, mainly trying to find good photo angles. With many tourists around, getting "clean" background shots often just requires patience and waiting.

Many areas inside the university are accessible, such as study rooms and lecture theaters, provided the doors are open and no classes or study sessions are in progress. The university has nine faculties and is quite large - as a tourist, it's neither possible nor necessary to explore it all.

The Victorian-style building is indeed impressive from the outside. The main entrance area attracts many photographers, with occasional tour groups passing through. Entering through the main door leads to a quadrangle courtyard, where the lawn is fenced off - dashing any hopes of taking nice photos sitting on the grass.

Inside, there's the Nicholson Museum. Though small, it's free to enter and hosts special exhibitions periodically. Nicholson contributed to the university during its early days and, after traveling through Europe, brought back numerous antiquities for teaching and research. This became Australia's first university museum. The museum now displays late 19th and early 20th century collections from the Mediterranean, Egypt, and Middle East regions.

The University of Sydney features various architectural styles. Our friend, who studies architecture, enthusiastically explained about different buildings - this one is the Design School, that one is the Law School. But what impressed us most was this Australian version of Hogwarts School of Magic. Unfortunately, we were too tired to pose for creative photos, so we just let the building's natural beauty speak for itself.

Building 4 houses the lecture theaters and Law School, Building 5 is the Medical Building, Building 6 is the library, and Buildings 3 and 10 both have food courts. The most famous is Building 7 - The Quadrangle, also known as the Harry Potter Building. For a tour, just follow buildings 4, 5, 6, and 7 in sequence.
Next to the Harry Potter Building, there's a flourishing Jacaranda tree, which blooms beautifully in November.

Our visit coincided with graduation season at the University of Sydney - it was wonderful to see all the graduates taking photos in the beautiful sunshine. Relaxing on the grass in front of The Quadrangle was just perfect. I actually prefer this campus to Melbourne University (though that might be because I'm here as a tourist rather than a student - haha!)

Don't miss the Graffiti Tunnel - it's quite a unique attraction, similar to the famous Furong Tunnel at Wuhan University.

The University of Sydney has an open campus layout, with its faculties spread across different blocks. Our main destination was The Quadrangle, affectionately nicknamed the "Harry Potter Building" by visitors due to its medieval architectural style that strongly resembles Hogwarts from the Harry Potter films. It's become one of Sydney's most Instagram-worthy locations.

The campus has all the typical university features - notice boards covered with club announcements, event posters, and various bulletins. The Law School building is particularly impressive, with its corridor featuring floor-to-ceiling windows - must be quite inspiring for students studying there!

Finally reaching our main target - the Harry Potter Building - was exciting. After two days of rain, Sydney blessed us with perfect weather. The blue sky and white clouds created a stunning backdrop for the brown historic building, really bringing out its medieval charm. When we arrived, many people were already taking photos. There's a large lawn in front of the main entrance that's perfect for photography - we even spotted a couple taking wedding photos!

Thanks to the beautiful weather, we spent over an hour exploring and photographing the building inside and out, trying various poses and enjoying every moment. It was definitely worth the visit!

What a treat to visit one of the world's top 50 universities! The unique architecture and beautiful landscape make it a must-see destination. Just being able to freely wander around such a prestigious campus feels special.

It's quite different from Chinese universities - there's no boundary wall, no main entrance gate, and no big university sign, which actually made it a bit tricky to find at first! The Harry Potter Building lives up to its reputation - it's absolutely magnificent. Though we had a bit of bad timing, visiting at noon when the strong sunlight made it challenging to get good photos.

After shopping, since it was still early, we took a bus to the University of Sydney. Unexpectedly, the weather changed dramatically - it became windy and cloudy. We felt sorry for the couples taking wedding photos at the entrance.

Fearing a sudden downpour, we didn't explore other parts of the campus and headed straight to the "Harry Potter Building" (The Quadrangle). The architecture is absolutely stunning - it looks just like an ancient castle. I really envy the students who get to study here.

We arrived at the University of Sydney too late for dinner - everything was already closed, which was a bummer. We just walked around the main "Harry Potter" building and noticed that the university campus isn't concentrated in one area. It felt quite spread out, with parts of the university even across the main road.

We checked out the recommended dining district near the university - I'm not sure exactly which direction it was in, but there was this one street completely lined with restaurants, lots of options!

The next day, we arrived at the university around 10 AM and went straight to the food court for breakfast, haha. We probably got there too early as it was pretty quiet. After looking around, there weren't actually many places open - just some Indian and Italian restaurants and such.

The University of Sydney is a Harry Potter filming location - with its pointed roofs, it feels like stepping into a magical world. However, the color palette is completely different from the British filming locations - instead of being gloomy, everything here feels warm and bright.

They say university students are a nation's pillars, and visiting a country's top universities helps you understand its young generation's character. So we decided to experience it ourselves~

As it turned out, all the university teaching buildings and libraries were closed. The busiest places were the gym, baseball field, and cricket ground~

With incredible luck, we stumbled upon a University of Sydney rugby team match. We spent the sunny afternoon watching rugby from the stadium bleachers. My devoted husband provided commentary throughout the game, though I honestly wasn't paying attention to the rules - I was too busy admiring the handsome players with their explosive hormonal charm. I spotted Australian versions of Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and even an Australian Sammo Hung (that was the big-bellied referee).
