SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium

It's right next to Darling Harbour. While the entrance looks small, it's surprisingly spacious inside. The shark viewing area is especially impressive - there's a long glass tunnel where you can see sharks swimming all around you. It's truly amazing.

Australia's marine life is unique - you can't see many of these species in aquariums anywhere else in the world.

It's not a very large aquarium but it's well-designed and refined. The location is very convenient, and it's worth a visit.

Sydney Aquarium is really great for visiting with children. Our Sydney itinerary was quite complicated before, so we left this undecided, but it turned out to be quite an interesting place~

The aquarium isn't very big - it's far inferior to Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.

The aquarium has a much greater variety of species compared to those back home - it's definitely worth visiting with children. The environment is nice too. Right outside the entrance is a leisure area and harbor wharf, which is very convenient.

I don't know if it's the same elsewhere, but we encountered the worst customer service here - left a really bad impression.

Kids can color their chosen fish at the exit area, and after scanning, they'll see their creation swimming on the big screen.

I think an hour to an hour and a half is plenty of time to properly explore the aquarium.

My friends made fun of me for visiting an aquarium in Australia when every Chinese city has an Ocean World. But I think the Sydney Aquarium didn't disappoint us - it's beautiful and has many different kinds of marine life. Girls like taking photos, and the Sydney Aquarium has many full-wall viewing areas that are perfect for photography.

Perhaps because I'd been to Japan before, comparing the two, this wasn't as impressive or captivating. It mainly features fish and penguins, and mostly small fish at that. Overall, it was just average.

Unlike other aquariums, the Sydney Aquarium doesn't offer seal or dolphin shows. Built by the sea, it pumps water directly from the harbor, so the fish live in conditions very similar to their natural ocean habitat.

The aquarium not only presents Australia's complete marine ecosystem but also collaborates with research institutions like the University of Sydney to study marine ecology. Australia's marine resources are incredibly rich - you can see over 13,000 different marine species from various Australian regions including the Great Barrier Reef, deep sea zones, Tasmanian waters, rocky shores, mangroves, and Sydney Harbor.

Sydney is a big city. There were 4-5 queues for buying tickets and exchanging QR codes for admission, each with hundreds of people. The aquarium was even more crowded, with hot and poor air quality. Apart from the penguin ferry ride that we queued for at the end, which was nice, there wasn't much else that was interesting.

It's quite spacious inside. Worth a visit.

The Sydney Aquarium is located in the heart of Darling Harbour. The entrance is small, but inside it's huge - as an indoor exhibition, it far exceeded expectations. Highly recommend bringing children here. Besides seeing regular aquatic animals, the penguin area is especially fun. My friend and I spent over 3 hours inside. There's a large screen at the exit that creates great photo opportunities - I took the cover photo for my travel blog there, the picture is in the comments section.

It's an indoor aquarium, great for kids. Not particularly spectacular, but worth taking time to appreciate. It takes about an hour to see everything - you can rush through quickly, but if you want to take photos, you'll need more time. There are beautiful murals in the tunnel leading to the transparent ocean ceiling. It starts with small glass display windows, followed by four larger ceiling tunnels where you can observe fish and sharks up close. At the exit, you can touch starfish, sea cucumbers, and other marine life - pretty good.

The underwater tunnel is quite long, with all kinds of small fish swimming back and forth - it's beautiful.

Overall, this aquarium isn't as impressive as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan. However, it does have an Antarctic penguin exhibit featuring penguins brought from nearby Antarctica - their adorably clumsy appearance makes people can't help but smile.

Here you can find two dugongs - marine mammals with lips that look remarkably human - and Antarctic penguins that you can view from a boat. Walking through the marine life tunnel, you can see fish of all sizes and different species. The glass displays also showcase beautiful corals, seahorses, and more...

Located next to Darling Harbour, there are lots of fish - you can see many sharks and manatees (they're so cute!), plus penguins. However, compared to many aquariums in China, it's quite small.
