WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo

This is a very large zoo in Sydney, and it has Australia's most famous koalas - chubby little things just clinging to trees, not wanting to move around, looking absolutely adorable. I specifically came to this zoo to see the koalas and really loved them.

The best part is you can line up to take photos with koalas! There are many adorable animals, and after touring the park, you can take the cable car back to the entrance.

It's right next to the Sydney Aquarium, and it really does have many Southern Hemisphere reptiles and such. Many of them I'd never seen before - quite interesting.

Sydney Wildlife World was a pleasant surprise - it has many native Sydney wildlife species, with adorable koalas and kangaroos. There are also scary reptiles. The layout is well-designed, and there are many exhibits.

We took the train to the wildlife park - although it's far, it's really worth the trip. The animals roam freely throughout the park, and as soon as you enter, kangaroos hop over to play with you, showing no fear of humans. There are many species of animals, and you can pet koalas and take photos with them for free, though you need to queue.

The hot dogs and drinks in the park are delicious, the fries are excellent, and prices are reasonable. Overall, it's clean, fun, good value for money, and there are no hidden costs.

The zoo here is very interesting. In the animal show area, there are no barriers - visitors stand right next to the hosts and interact with the animals, which feels great. During one segment, they invited a visitor up, asked him to close his eyes, and placed a python on him from a box behind. His expression when he opened his eyes was priceless - the young boy was scared at first but quickly calmed down and then enjoyed the python slowly coiling around him. Yumi was also excited later and went to touch the snake.

The second floor is the koala area, with a cafe nearby and some seating where everyone rests while waiting to see the koalas.

You can see endangered species like the Tasmanian devil, Australian bilby, and ghost bats.
Although the zoo is small with limited species, you can freely pet the koalas, there are lots of kangaroos, and regular sheep shearing shows. For tourists visiting Australia, it's exciting enough.

The koalas are adorable, the kangaroos are gentle, and there are little penguins too.

The wildlife park is excellent, much better than the wildlife center at Darling Harbour. It offers fascinating up-close encounters with Australia's unique native animals.

We had a combo ticket, but couldn't be bothered to go. Really tired of seeing these things, sigh sigh sigh sigh...

Mainly came to see this big star [referring to a koala]. Actually, it moves very quickly - I always thought they were lazy, but watching it move from one eucalyptus tree to another, its movements were surprisingly swift and unexpected.

There are many local animals inside. This is where I saw kangaroos for the first time.

They have a complete collection of animals. From the giraffe area, you can see the Sydney Opera House - the animals here seem so happy.

I went to Sydney Wildlife World - it's really small. Since I couldn't pet the kangaroos and wombats at Taronga Zoo, I tried my luck at Wildlife World, which claims to specialize in native Australian animals. Well, turns out kangaroos need to rest during the day - they just lay there quietly, not wanting to interact. Only at 4 PM daily is there a scheduled "walkout talk" when you can feed and pet the kangaroos. There are also specific times when you can have close encounters with other animals. So it's better to check the official website for detailed schedules before visiting.

Sydney Wildlife World is near Darling Harbour, admission is 35 AUD. We headed straight for the koala habitat, but unfortunately could only view them from behind glass at a distance.
