Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach is hands-down one of the coolest spots in Sydney. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you’ve got to check it out. The vibe here is super laid-back, with surfers catching waves, people chilling on the sand, and lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby.

The water’s perfect for a swim (just stick between the flags!), and if surfing’s your thing, you can catch some awesome waves or even take a lesson. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is a must-do too—the views are incredible!

Plus, there’s always something happening at Bondi, from outdoor yoga to weekend markets and street art. It’s the perfect place to hang out, people-watch, and soak up the Aussie beach culture.

When going to the beach or mountains in winter, both adults and kids should dress warmly and wear extra layers.

We didn't make the famous Bondi Beach our main destination, mainly because its member-only swimming pool wasn't accessible to us. After eating and drinking our fill, we decided not to drive but walk to Bondi instead. Following the coastal rocks all the way leads to Bondi Beach. While Bondi itself didn't leave me with any unforgettable impression of beauty, the rocky coastal walk there was truly worth it for its stunning views.

Along the walkway, there were many foreigners jogging, walking dogs, doing yoga, and surfing. Checked out the famous seaside pool that's popular on social media - it costs 7 AUD per person to swim. After watching for quite a while, there were never more than 5 people in the pool. Next to the pool is the famous Icebergs restaurant, which was completely full. I peeked at the view from the window seats and it was indeed beautiful. The seaside is windy and sunny, so make sure to take proper protective measures before going.

This is Bondi's famous Instagram-worthy swimming pool, perched on the rocks with the endless ocean as its backdrop - perfect views from every angle. There's a bar next to the pool, and if you're lucky, you can get an outdoor seat to enjoy a drink and some snacks.

Past the pool is the beach. Bondi is really huge, and naturally much more crowded. Who would have thought that in sparsely populated Australia, you could see a scene as packed as dumplings in a pot!

Bondi Beach is Sydney's most popular beach, and it gets extremely crowded every summer. Since it's winter now, only surfers are out in the water.

I visited Bondi Beach in the evening as the sun was setting. Didn't see the supposedly ubiquitous sunbathing beauties, but the quiet beach and deep blue waters were still stunning and captivating~

A famous Sydney beach that's accessible by a 45-minute bus ride from the city center (we took bus 333). You can easily spend a whole day here. The water is very blue, and even in winter, there are many people surfing. The area is surrounded by numerous cafes and restaurants.

The scenery is really just average - it's mainly about experiencing a different atmosphere.

Bondi Beach is a well-known Instagram hotspot (correctly pronounced as "bond-eye," not the Chinese transliteration "bang-di"). It's a famous surfing destination known for its ocean pool. However, due to the overwhelming number of visitors, the beach isn't as clean and white as some other beaches.

We came in the early evening when the weather was perfect. The entire beach was very clean, and lots of locals love coming here to play. Right next to the beach are lively streets lined with cafes and restaurants - when you're tired from swimming, you can easily find a place nearby for a good meal! This kind of lifestyle is just wonderful~

When visiting Australia, you must visit at least one beach, as the coastal scenery here is completely different from what you'll find in China or Southeast Asia. Just watching the seabirds soaring overhead is worth the trip. If you want to understand how locals enjoy life, Bondi Beach is the best place to experience it.

Bondi Beach is a perfect holiday destination - with its azure sky and incredibly soft sand that feels wonderful under bare feet. The sunlight is intense, and every casual photo captures stunning shades of blue without any filters, creating a breathtaking view that made me jump with excitement hahahha!

The combination of grass, sand, ocean, and blue sky creates a beautiful panorama where lazy, relaxing moments naturally unfold.

This landmark is worth visiting, and we caught it during the Chinese New Year celebrations and decorations.

Bondi Beach today is far from its bustling summer atmosphere, greeting visitors instead with a cool, misty embrace... Here I am again, standing before this place that has haunted my dreams! In the presence of nature's magnificent power, we're struck by its masterful artistry and unpredictability. We find ourselves irresistibly drawn deeper into love for it, while simultaneously growing more aware of its awesome force. Bondi Beach possesses this unique enchantment - once you've encountered it, it's impossible to forget!

Here you can admire beautiful people in their swimwear. While Bondi Beach might seem like just another coastal beach town, it's actually Australia's most historic surfing hub. During our visit, we saw many young surfers catching waves.

Bondi Beach is a great place where Sydney locals enjoy life.

The sand is soft and fine, very comfortable to walk on barefoot. If Bondi Beach is already this beautiful, I can't help but look forward even more to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast.

This place is in a completely different direction (far east) from most of Sydney's main attractions, but the beach is truly amazing! Unfortunately, it's early winter now, and compared to warm Brisbane, it's not really suitable for swimming. Despite the sunny weather, only a very few people on the beach were preparing to get in the water...
