WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
- WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
The best way to say "G'day" to Australia's native animals is to visit Sydney Wildlife Zoo, featuring over 1 kilometer of glass-enclosed walkways, making it the world's largest indoor wildlife park. Here you'll find all of Australia's star animals you can imagine, with animal feeding and shows throughout the day. You can have close encounters with cuddly koalas and adorably silly kangaroos.

Walking along Darling Harbour brings you to the Sydney Wildlife Zoo! Since my mom only wanted to see koalas and kangaroos, we chose this closer zoo instead of the larger one farther away. If you have time, I'd recommend visiting the bigger zoo, but if you're short on time and just want to see a few signature Australian animals, this one is sufficient.
Animal feeding costs just 1 dollar. You can cover the whole zoo in about 2 hours. You can take photos with koalas here for an extra fee - you can buy the photo package either at the zoo or online for about the same price... but note that you're not allowed to hug the koalas 🐨.
