The best way to say "G'day" to Australia's native animals is to visit Sydney Wildlife Zoo, featuring over 1 kilometer of glass-enclosed walkways, making it the world's largest indoor wildlife park. Here you'll find all of Australia's star animals you can imagine, with animal feeding and shows throughout the day. You can have close encounters with cuddly koalas and adorably silly kangaroos.

We chose to visit the aquarium, zoo, and wax museum. We originally planned to start with the zoo, but when we arrived, we discovered all three attractions were actually very close to each other. You can exchange your online e-tickets at any of their entrances - just show your electronic order on your phone to the staff and they'll give you the physical combo ticket. Very convenient!

Finally got to see the precious pandas and koalas - they're absolutely adorable with their cute faces! Though at the Sydney Zoo, you can only view the koalas through glass. And I learned about an incredibly fierce animal I'd never heard of before - the Tasmanian Devil. The name alone sounds scary, and the zoo keeper told us these creatures are powerful enough to bite through a human thigh in one bite!
