The best way to say "G'day" to Australia's native animals is to visit Sydney Wildlife Zoo, featuring over 1 kilometer of glass-enclosed walkways, making it the world's largest indoor wildlife park. Here you'll find all of Australia's star animals you can imagine, with animal feeding and shows throughout the day. You can have close encounters with cuddly koalas and adorably silly kangaroos.

This is an indoor zoo, with the butterfly pavilion being the first exhibit you encounter. The butterflies are very friendly with visitors! There are dedicated staff members who help guests take photos with kangaroos, snakes, and koalas - though you're not allowed to touch the koalas. It was a bit disappointing not being able to hold a koala.
