Being the most isolated city from other cities, being the loneliest city, makes it the purest city. Emerging from the cross-continental red-eye flight cabin, though still drowsy, I immediately sensed something different - the sunlight was piercingly bright. Looking at my watch, it was only 7 AM (Perth local time, 2 hours ahead of Beijing), yet the sun was already so brilliant. Sitting in the airport transfer to the city with windows half-open, my body told me I had arrived in a different continent, a different place entirely. The first impression was how incredibly clear the sky was - practically cloudless, with only scattered bits of cotton-like clouds floating above. The expanse between heaven and earth was so vast and bright that I, accustomed to the bustling, shoulder-to-shoulder metropolitan crowds, couldn't immediately adjust to this dramatic change. The car cruised along empty roads, with few other vehicles and barely any pedestrians. Occasionally we passed unique houses displaying their owners' creativity along the roadside. The vegetation here isn't lush - tall trees stand alone or in small clusters, never forming forests. Instead, there are more shrubs and small flowers, and vast expanses of yellow grasslands covering fields and hills - it's winter in Australia, so the grass is still withered and yellow. As we gradually approached the city center, I spotted distant skyscraper spires. Suddenly, an enormous expanse of azure appeared before my eyes - was this earth or paradise? Rubbing my eyes and gathering my thoughts, ah yes, this must be the famous Swan Lake, the soul of Perth, as essential to the city as West Lake is to Hangzhou. The water body was so vast that we drove alongside it for quite some time. When I stuck my head out the window, the entire Swan Lake and Perth embraced me - this crystalline blue, this pure transparency, this air, this water enveloped my whole being, as if I'd entered a fairy tale kingdom... During my subsequent three days in Perth, I couldn't stay away from this Swan Lake, this spiritual lake, this supreme lake. As if enchanted, the lake and its waters permeated my every nerve, flowing through my blood, unconsciously becoming part of the lake itself.
