We initially planned to go up the tower before sunset. However, staff informed us that due to the long queue, we'd miss the sunset by the time we got up there. So we decided to come back the next afternoon.

The next day, upon reaching the top, we quickly surveyed the area but were somewhat disappointed. Photography was only allowed indoors, and the windows were dirty and had glare issues, which would definitely affect photo quality. After taking a few quick snapshots, we decided to abandon the Sydney Tower and spend the beautiful twilight hours at the Opera House instead.

While the tower offers nice night views, I wouldn't recommend it for night photography. The dirty windows with reflections and glare make it difficult to get good shots through the glass.
