· Standing 305 meters tall and built in 1970, it's Sydney's tallest building, constructed above Westfield Shopping Centre.
· The top consists of three sections: a 360-degree observation deck at 250 meters, a Skywalk at 260 meters, and a revolving restaurant.
· Along with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it forms Sydney's three major landmarks.

Transportation

Walking: About 1.2km (15 minutes) from Circular Quay

Train: Alight at Town Hall or St James stations, short walk to destination

Bus: Take 310 from Platform D at Circular Quay (160m walk after), or 394 from Platform E (270m walk after)

Finding the entrance to Sydney Tower is quite challenging, with extremely unclear signage. It took several rounds of searching before finally locating the actual entrance. Note that this entrance is different from the one used for the Sydney Tower buffet restaurant.

First, we watched a so-called 4D film, which was just okay, before ascending the tower. The elevator is indeed fast, but the observation deck is completely enclosed in glass. All photos must be taken through the glass, resulting in average image quality and inevitable reflections. It's the kind of attraction that you could take or leave.
