Around 3:30 PM, noticing the sun was about to set, we planned to capture the sunset from Sydney Tower, so we walked from the Opera House to Westfield. The Sydney Tower entrance is located on the 5th floor of Westfield, in a dining area, but it's extremely difficult to find. We circled the entire 5th floor without spotting it, and finally had to ask someone for directions. Look for their specific logo sign - that's how you'll find it.

We had originally planned to watch the entire sunset process, but we hadn't anticipated the extremely long queues at Sydney Tower - whether due to crowd control or other reasons. So here's a tip: make sure to arrive early next time! We arrived at 4:30 PM but didn't make it up until 5:30 PM, so we only caught the last rays of sunlight before dark. The process involves first queuing for a 4D theater experience that introduces Sydney, followed by another queue to ascend the tower itself.
