· Standing 305 meters tall and built in 1970, it's Sydney's tallest building, constructed above Westfield Shopping Centre.
· The top consists of three sections: a 360-degree observation deck at 250 meters, a Skywalk at 260 meters, and a revolving restaurant.
· Along with the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it forms Sydney's three major landmarks.

Transportation

Walking: About 1.2km (15 minutes) from Circular Quay

Train: Alight at Town Hall or St James stations, short walk to destination

Bus: Take 310 from Platform D at Circular Quay (160m walk after), or 394 from Platform E (270m walk after)

After calculating Sydney's sunset time, I planned to go up the tower at 7 PM. But I didn't account for the 30+ minute queue, so by the time I reached the top, the sun had already set. Here are two important tips:

If you want to capture the sunset, make sure to leave plenty of time
If you plan to take night photos with a camera, be sure to bring a polarizing filter.
