At midnight on the day I left Australia, when there were no cars around, I ran to the middle of Pacific Highway, bent down and kissed the road, then ran away. Three and a half years - the best three and a half years of my youth - had passed just like that. Whether it was loneliness, destitution, helplessness; or tranquility, happiness and nonchalance, it had all passed. No regrets, because that was my glory. Looking through some photos, remembering some places I've been. Australia has the most beautiful oceans I've ever seen. The sky, grasslands, empty benches, people reading while lying in rock crevices, seaside pools - everything speaks of harmony and beauty. The first beach I visited was Mona Vale, about an hour's drive north of Sydney, on my third day after arriving. Henry and Grace welcomed me by driving their old car there, so I crossed the Harbour Bridge for the first time and passed through Chatswood for the first time. These places became the main themes of my life in 2006 and 2007. Mona Vale:

Then there's my favorite Port Stephens, two and a half hours' drive from Sydney, my paradise in dreams. It has sand, sea, and mountains. If you go out to sea between March and October, you can see whales, and dolphins often swim alongside the boats. I went twice, two trips to paradise.
