Why is it called the Harry Potter Building?! Because JK Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, did her post-graduate studies at the University of Exeter and then completed a short-term program at the University of Sydney Medical School. Many of her descriptions were based on the medical school's interior structure, and the main building was her primary architectural inspiration. That's why it's called the Harry Potter Building. It was listed as state government heritage in September 2018.
