· The famous Moroccan priest's floor pattern in the underground crypt features intricate Genesis-themed mosaics made from colored stone fragments, renowned worldwide for its craftsmanship.
· St Mary's Cathedral is famous for its high-standard music and choir, internationally recognized as one of the world's finest, regularly performing on tour.
· Visitor guidelines: No mobile phones, no hats, photography allowed but without flash.

St. Mary's Cathedral is located next to Hyde Park. Western countries have many cathedrals - this was the fourth one on our trip. I chose not to visit Europe for my two-week holiday specifically because I didn't want to spend all my time looking at churches. Australia offers a good balance between natural scenery and cultural attractions. Looking at too much of any one thing can get tedious, but combining both natural and cultural sights helps maintain a sense of novelty throughout the trip.
