I entered during Mass and found myself following along with the devout worshippers in prayer and praise. When it came time for communion and the priest was offering the Holy Eucharist, he kindly asked me if I was Catholic. Standing before God, I felt I should be honest and shook my head. Rather than being disappointed, the priest lovingly patted my head.

This is the most classical church I've seen in Australia. Stepping inside feels like entering a vast celestial space. Massive columns support the enormous arched dome, creating a heavenly expanse that feels both broad and soaring. The towering central nave is absolutely mesmerizing.

In the center of the main hall stands a statue of the Virgin Mary. I initially thought the figures on either side were Jesus's disciples, but the numbers didn't add up when I counted them.

Near the church entrance, there's a statue with an inscription reading "Their names shall live forever" on the right side, and "For God and Country" in Latin on the other. Seeing the figures dressed in military uniforms with service caps, I believe it's a memorial to fallen soldiers.
