Bus: Sydney Sightseeing Bus Stop 24, or other buses to Market Street or King Street, then walk to Darling Harbour
Walking: 5-10 minutes along Market Street or King Street
Ferry: Take ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 5 to Darling Harbour, disembark at Aquarium Ferry Wharf

The Sydney Aquarium is a must-see attraction. Right at the entrance, you're greeted by the platypus - Australia's unique creature that's often compared to China's pandas in terms of its evolutionary significance, truly a living fossil.

The main attraction is walking through glass tunnels, where you can watch various marine life swimming all around you. It's quite an experience - some fish are impressively large, others display vibrant colors. You can clearly see the sharks' teeth and the peculiar eyes of flatfish. There's even a chance to have a face-to-face encounter with sea turtles. However, I didn't spot any dugongs during my visit.
