· Originally Australia's first farm, the Gardens are adjacent to the Sydney Opera House and CBD, separated from the Opera House only by a narrow bay. This prime location makes it a must-visit destination.
· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

Inside the Botanic Gardens, there's the best spot to view the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It's worth visiting when the flowers are blooming, and although it's completely free, it's professionally maintained. You can walk around and head to Mrs. Macquarie's Chair.

Walking along the U-shaped bend, you'll see seagulls, low walls, lawns, and gardens. The gardens offer multiple angles to view the landmarks without obstruction. The park is quite large but not crowded - it would have been nice to bring a picnic blanket to Australia to lie down and gaze at the sky (though it's a bit sunny).

There are two cafes in the garden - one in the center with blooming wisteria on its walls, and another with views of the Sydney Opera House where you can sit on chairs on the lawn, which is very relaxing.

Looking back, you can see the CBD skyline in the distance - while it's hard to make out details when you're in it, it looks quite nice from afar.
