· Originally Australia's first farm, the Gardens are adjacent to the Sydney Opera House and CBD, separated from the Opera House only by a narrow bay. This prime location makes it a must-visit destination.
· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

From the gardens you can see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The gardens are really huge - we couldn't cover it all in our time there. We took the mini train, which costs 10 AUD for adults and 5 AUD for children.

The train ride took quite a while! After returning to the starting point, we walked directly up the steps and arrived at the Sydney Opera House.
