· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

The most impressive thing about the Botanic Gardens is the enormous size of the trees. Walking along the riverbank in the gardens leads you to a spot opposite the Opera House - that's where they take those postcard photos.

But since Australia is so vast with few people, we took one look at the walking distance and gave up right away...
