· Originally Australia's first farm, the Gardens are adjacent to the Sydney Opera House and CBD, separated from the Opera House only by a narrow bay. This prime location makes it a must-visit destination.
· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

It's a large park with all kinds of plants - a great place for walking and clearing your mind. It's also one of the classic spots for photographing the Sydney Opera House.

The only downside is that the plants aren't labeled, so you can't identify many of them by name.
