· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

Magnificent old trees dominate the landscape throughout the gardens. This spot offers some of Sydney's most breathtaking views - the Opera House and Harbour Bridge create an iconic panorama! You can photograph the entire CBD skyline from here. We were lucky enough to witness an interesting scene of people training their dogs to perform water retrieval in the harbor.
