· Originally Australia's first farm, the Gardens are adjacent to the Sydney Opera House and CBD, separated from the Opera House only by a narrow bay. This prime location makes it a must-visit destination.
· Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, located at the northern end of the Gardens, offers the best vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge - a spot featured in many postcards.
· An ideal place to unwind, featuring expansive views, peaceful atmosphere, large lawns, and numerous benches. The Government House, located within the Gardens, is open for public visits.

Maybe because it was winter, the Botanic Gardens lacked vitality and the scenery wasn't particularly impressive. It didn't seem very well-maintained either - perhaps it's different in spring? Well, since we were here, might as well take a look.

Walking through the Botanic Gardens leads to a spot where you can view the Sydney Opera House - it's beautiful here, with lots of people exercising at noon.
