On our first day in Sydney, the weather was perfect - clearing away the gloom of previous days. After 10 AM, the sun was shining brightly, and the sea was sparkling. We were incredibly happy.
Coming down from Citytrail, we arrived at Circular Quay. The wharf has many different routes going in various directions. Later in our trip, we took the ferry to Taronga Zoo from Wharf 4.
To the left of the wharf is the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and to the right is the world-famous Sydney Opera House. Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, we decided to first visit Mrs. Macquarie's Chair - a popular photo spot where you can capture both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in one shot - so we headed to the right.
We each bought a delicious latte from a coffee shop along the way. The cream on top was very thick and deliciously sweet. Unfortunately, Danni accidentally spilled coffee on her clothes, which led to spending half an hour washing them in the Opera House restaurant's bathroom - I guess that counts as a unique travel experience!
