Artistic Melbourne - Summer Edition
Finally, with the salty summer breeze, I've returned to see you, lovely Miss Melbourne. The day before I arrived, the forecast was 43 degrees! Though that's a frightfully high temperature, I was secretly delighted - at least I wouldn't be cold this time. Finally, I could wear my cute sundresses and shop freely!
Dear kangaroo sister and zebra brother, did you miss me?
Stepping off the plane, I was already accustomed to the lush grasslands around. Humming a tune on the clean bus, I returned to Federation Square, Melbourne's community hub. In the visitor center below Federation Square, you can find all the tourist information you need about Melbourne, including transport maps and attraction guides. Friendly elderly ladies are there to help - though it's best to know some English!

Wandering down Swanston Street, the city's busiest pedestrian mall, watching the fashionable crowds, Melbourne finally flashed me her electrifying smile...
In the bustling pedestrian street, Chinatown's arch stands prominently, though the district isn't large. The long street is filled with various Chinese restaurants, and there are plenty of Westerners enjoying the food!
As the weather warmed up, Melbourne became more colorful - even the trams turned candy-colored, sporting their new looks!
Turning around, I suddenly realized even the public toilets here could be so distinctive!
There were many more cyclists too, creating a unique scenery. Remember, helmets are mandatory here - or you'll face a fine!
The ladies were rushing eagerly to the beach, desperate to tan themselves chocolate-brown, though their skin type only allows them to turn carrot-red!
Looking at this completely different Melbourne, I was dazed - could this be a summer version of Copenhagen?
Near Queen Victoria Market, the Princess Theatre was showing Jersey Boys, the musical that took America by storm. Checking my wallet, alas, not enough money - I had to regretfully bid farewell to the white-suited performers.

On my second visit, I should show the friendly and kind spirit of the Chinese people. So, with deep respect, I observed a minute of silence at the War Memorial for the Australian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War II.
Just as I was happily exploring the Docklands harbor filled with luxury yachts, Lady Melbourne began to show her temper. Suddenly, the wind picked up, clouds gathered, and the temperature dropped... ⊙﹏⊙
The sand sculptor working by the harbor can testify to this - just look at how many layers she's wearing!
As Melbourne gradually falls asleep under the sunset-tinged sky, it's time for me to pack up. Dear Australian beauty, could you use that big camera of yours to take a couple of presentable photos of me?
I'll keep thinking of you, mysterious and beautiful Lady Melbourne!
