Manly Beach is located northeast of Sydney Harbour, with its wharf in the inner harbour while the beach faces the outer ocean (South Pacific). It's another popular surfing destination in New South Wales. The beach is very wide and stretches about 2.5 kilometers, accommodating tens of thousands of sunbathers, which makes it extremely crowded during holidays.

The town of Manly has many diving equipment shops and fishing supply stores. The Australian lifestyle is very laid-back - near Manly Wharf, you can always see numerous sailing enthusiasts heading out to sea.

From Circular Quay, it takes over 30 minutes to reach Manly Beach.
