Transportation
Take the ferry from either Wharf No. 3 or No. 2 at Circular Quay to Manly Wharf (approximately 30-minute journey). From Manly Wharf, it's about a 300-meter walk to Manly Beach. Ferries run frequently throughout the day.

Manly area is also an affluent district - it's away from the city but still very convenient for daily life. There are many beaches of different sizes, large lawns, golf courses, and it's popular among surf enthusiasts. You can also see lots of adorable dogs around.

Along the shore, there are man-made ocean pools filled with seawater, making it safe for both children and adults to swim and exercise. When I jumped into the pool in my swimsuit, the cold seawater still made me shiver. This might have been because it was nearly sunset - I'd recommend swimming around noon when it's a bit warmer.
