- Manly Beach

· "Only seven miles from Sydney CBD, yet worlds away from the city's hustle and bustle" - a common saying among Manly residents.
· This is Sydney locals' favorite beach, offering not just natural beauty with sunshine and sea, but also numerous shopping outlets and trendy boutiques.
· Manly Beach has all the essential elements for a perfect beach life: a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful ocean views, and cool shade from trees.

You can take a ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 3. The journey takes about half an hour. The round - trip ticket for adults costs 15.2 Australian dollars, and for children, it's 7.6 Australian dollars. When you get off the ferry at the Manly Wharf, just walk straight ahead and you'll reach the beach. The sand is okay, and the waves are quite big. There are many shops on both sides of the road leading to the beach. I have to complain about the Australian souvenirs. They are far from delicate, and the manufacturing level is similar to that of China in the 1990s.

It's very important to note that there are many blue jellyfish on the beach. They are venomous. Don't assume that the jellyfish stranded on the sand are dead. One time, a child's father kicked one out of curiosity and got stung by the jellyfish. His leg went numb within five minutes. There is a pharmacy on the shopping street. If your English is not good, remember to take a photo of the jellyfish, and the shop assistant will understand. After communicating with the staff, they provided us with an ice pack for free. After applying the ice pack for 10 minutes and then applying the medicine, the situation was basically under control.

Overall, Manly Beach didn't really surprise me. It was just a typical tourist visit. On the way back in the evening, I enjoyed the night view of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the ferry.
