Transportation
Take the ferry from either Wharf No. 3 or No. 2 at Circular Quay to Manly Wharf (approximately 30-minute journey). From Manly Wharf, it's about a 300-meter walk to Manly Beach. Ferries run frequently throughout the day.

This is a popular area with Western tourists - the streets are filled with people in bikinis and shorts, enjoying fish and chips, ice cream, and drinks, creating a very relaxed atmosphere. The beach sand is soft, and there are patrol officers making it feel quite safe. My friend says it's similar to Bondi Beach. There's also a man-made pool here, though I didn't check it out. My friend was lucky enough to spot whales while jogging here before.

The pedestrian street has many famous ice cream shops, all serving delicious treats. There are also several local brand stores worth checking out. You can reach here by taking a 30-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay.
