It was noon when I reached Hyde Park. Many locals were picnicking, relaxing, and playing with their children.
By the fountain, a musician was playing "The Moon Represents My Heart." The thick, leafy trees filtered out the harsh sunlight. This scene touched the softest part of my heart - it was so comfortable I could almost cry.
I found a bench and watched squirrels peeping from the bushes, observed devout worshippers from St. Mary's Cathedral sitting beside me in prayer, then opened a yogurt to enjoy this simple lunch amid the music and sunshine.
I heard my inner voice cry out "My God! This is what life should be!"
Joggers and cyclists passed by, while girls with dogs and books sat beside me under the big trees. Looking up at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, surrounded by people enjoying life, I unconsciously closed my eyes and took a deep breath. The salty sea breeze and life's sweetness filled my lungs - a taste of complete contentment.
