The bridge arches across the harbor like a rainbow, or perhaps a giant coat hanger, facing the Sydney Opera House across the water - a truly beautiful sight.
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the few bridges in the world where tourists can climb to the arch's summit. For safety reasons, visitors are prohibited from carrying anything that could fall - no cameras, phones, not even watches or bracelets are allowed. Professional guides accompany climbers, and dedicated photographers capture the experience, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the panoramic views of Sydney without distractions. Many celebrities, both international and Chinese, have reportedly made the climb, including Lin Chi-ling and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Having seen many magnificent bridges in China, this harbor bridge actually appears quite ordinary and didn't particularly impress us. However, when you consider its construction timeline, it demands a new level of respect. The bridge was designed in 1857 and completed in 1932, and it's remarkable how well-preserved it remains today.
