Missing That Sea—Coolangatta

Coolangatta is the brightest, most dazzling stretch of sea in my memory. I’ve been twice—once with friends, once with my mom. With different moods and states of mind, photos of the same place have a different feel each time. And every time I went there, my mood was incredibly bright, just like the sunny days in the photos—even the postcards I sent home were filled with the warmth of the sun.
