The Sydney Fish Market is the second largest fish wholesale market in the world and the largest fish market in the Southern Hemisphere. Its scale is only second to the Tsukiji Market in Japan. The place where I stayed was very close to both the fish market and Darling Harbour. It only took about twenty minutes to walk there.
I especially recommend this kind of shrimp. Its meat is sweet and fresh, and it is full of rich gelatin. It's a delicious taste that I've never had before! The oysters are also freshly shucked on the spot, and the scallops are something that my husband has been full of praise for. I also spent a lot of money on a set meal of cooked seafood, but still, the raw ones taste better.
