I heard the fish market is now owned by Chinese owners, and since they took over, prices have gone up significantly. Australian lobster costs 200 AUD per kilogram.
If you're with a small group, I suggest getting a small rock lobster, and oysters are a must - choose Tasmanian oysters, which are also called South Australian oysters in the shops (they're the same thing). The rest depends on your personal preference. Besides these two items, we also got crab and cheese scallops. That was plenty of food for us.
