Darling Harbour, also known as Lovers' Harbour, is Sydney's most vibrant nightspot - somewhat similar to Beijing's Sanlitun. What sets it apart is that besides bars, it also houses attractions like the aquarium, museums, convention center, and art markets. It's also a key celebration venue for major events like New Year's fireworks.

A few girls in low-cut short dresses walked past us, catching the attention of many passersby - probably heading to some party. Street musicians were passionately performing with their guitars, while diverse crowds flowed by. Of course, most people were like me - typical tourists taking photos at every spot.

There are numerous bars here, making it perfect for those wanting to party all night.

They say there used to be fireworks shows every Saturday night at 8:30 PM at Darling Harbour, but these seem to have been discontinued. Some say they only happen in June now - if you're traveling in June, it might be worth visiting on a weekend to check it out.
