I read online that there's a fireworks show every Saturday night at 8:00 (some say 9:00) - though some people said they waited but didn't see anything. So I went with low expectations, thinking it would be fine if we missed it.
Unexpectedly, around 8:36 PM (I guess they need preparation time, so it's not exactly on the hour but sometime between 8:00 and 9:00), the fireworks suddenly started - it startled me! It was much grander than I expected, with continuous fireworks lasting 7 minutes. (Even a girl I went diving with, who had worked in Sydney for over half a year, posted on social media that she had no idea this was a thing!)
