The 2005 River Festival in Brisbane. Every year, Brisbane holds the River Festival along both banks of the Brisbane River. On this day, the government organizes many activities along the riverbanks including air shows, boat races, and fireworks. The most spectacular moment is near the end when an F-111 heavy bomber performs an ultra-low altitude flight. People bring their own chairs, and some even bring sofas! On this evening, all public buses are completely free.
This day is also when the military does their promotional activities.
The military band's performance was impressive.
