· A famous Sydney beach and a perfect spot to experience various marine activities and observe how locals enjoy life.
· Due to strong waves, it's not ideal for swimming. Most visitors either surf or sunbathe on the beach.
· Hosts numerous local and international events throughout the year, from the annual "City to Surf" run to the "Festival of the Winds" kite festival.
· Take the scenic coastal cliff walk from Bondi to Coogee, stopping at cafes for a drink or enjoying fresh milk ice cream at the Bondi Pavilion.

A quick Google search showed we could get there by bus. Despite the cool weather, we decided to visit even though we'd initially thought of skipping it - thankfully we had time.
The beach is moderately sized, and the sky here is so much bluer than back home. Walking along the beach, feeling the sea breeze - while the sand isn't the finest, it's clean enough. There are no vendors, and everyone seems quite well-behaved. With no beach chairs available, we creatively made backrests from sand sculptures, haha! Many Westerners come specifically for sunbathing and surfing, with lots of people bringing their own surfboards. You can freely swim in the ocean, though surfing is the main activity here. I chose to simply watch the seabirds and gaze at the ocean. The good-looking lifeguards regularly patrol the beach in their vehicles.
There's plenty of parking available, though I didn't check the rates. Across the street, you'll find various shops and eateries. We saw the famous infinity pool by the beach, though there weren't many swimmers due to the cold weather. There are free public restrooms nearby.
Before heading back to the city center, I managed to buy some Aesop lotion from a nearby shop just before closing time - lucky me!
