Day 2 in Sydney was dedicated to the Blue Mountains 🏞, Sydney's backyard paradise 🌈! The oceanic climate is really comfortable [amazed], and the weather was perfect 🌤. Since we were traveling independently and had returned our rental car 🚘, we booked a small group day tour online 🏁 for convenience. If possible, driving yourself 🚗 and following the day tour route 👣 is completely feasible.

My route included the Blue Mountains' 3-section cable car 🚡, viewing the Three Sisters, Leura Village 🌸, Wool Factory 🐑, and Olympic Park 🥇🥈🥉. For just the Blue Mountains alone, adult tickets are 43 AUD per person 💰. I initially thought the vast Blue Mountains would be hard to navigate on our own, but the routes were actually easy to find 🤓. From the ticket office, with a Chinese language map 🇨🇳, there are very clear route indicators. The standard route is Red Railway 🚠 - Blue Cableway 🚟 - Yellow Skyway 🚡. You can see the Three Sisters 🏞⛰ during the cable car rides.

For someone who doesn't often ride cable cars, this experience was quite novel. Especially experiencing the 52-degree incline of the red mining car 😝! The weightless feeling wasn't too intense, and it's manageable even for those afraid of heights. The yellow skyway only has a glass floor in the middle section, which you can look down through 👀.

Beautiful scenery and fresh air. After completing the 3 cable car sections, you return to the visitor center with restaurants 🍽. My package included meals, but buying on-site is also OK. The food was so-so, but edible. Otherwise, you can bring your own food.

Including meal time, it took about 3.5 hours in total.
