As a young nation with only about 200 years of modern history, Australia's cultural heritage cannot compare to China's rich historical depth. Most exhibitions focus on local natural heritage or contemporary art. Any provincial museum in China would surpass it in terms of both architectural scale and the depth and breadth of collections.
