This museum is actually called the Australian Museum (Sydney's Natural History Museum), located next to Hyde Park. While most visitors to Sydney head for the Opera House and such, I went because I studied biology and love nature. The exterior is quite plain and unremarkable, but once inside, my only regret was not allocating more time.

The museum spans three floors. The first floor houses Aboriginal cultural exhibits, the skeleton gallery, shop, café, and temporary exhibitions. The second floor features minerals and gems, while the third floor contains dinosaur exhibits, prehistoric and modern animal displays, bird and insect collections, and a discovery corner. The skeleton gallery is particularly distinctive, and the bird and insect collections are impressively extensive. The museum has rich collections and serves as an excellent educational venue, but what's truly amazing is how they present their collections!

I won't say too much, leaving it for you to experience yourself. But I'll share one amusing detail: in the dinosaur hall, each fossil skeleton has an LED information panel detailing the dinosaur's discovery history and characteristics, along with endearing "likes" and "doesn't like" sections. On the T-Rex's panel, under "doesn't like," it says: "jokes about its tiny arms." Absolutely hilarious - T-Rex doesn't appreciate being mocked for its short arms!
