The building is beautiful, though tickets aren't cheap. It's worth visiting if you have time - we were lucky to catch the mammoth special exhibition.
The Australian Museum charges an entrance fee of 15 AUD per person, and special exhibitions like the mammoth exhibit require additional tickets.

The dinosaur area was originally a large exhibition hall, but unfortunately it's under renovation recently, with only a small section remaining open.
